Privacy and cookies

This page explains what happens to information when you use litunec.com. In short: the calculators work in your browser and nothing you type into them leaves your device.

Calculators

Birth dates, times and cities entered into the Venus, Mars and Moon calculators are processed locally by your browser. They are not sent to this site's server, not stored and not shared. To search cities, the browser downloads a public list of cities once; the search itself also happens on your device.

Analytics

We measure visits to understand which pages are useful. Measurement is sent through this site's own server to Google Analytics 4, so your browser does not contact Google directly. Before you make a choice about cookies, pages are counted without cookies and with a shortened IP address. If you accept, first-party cookies recognise returning visits. You can change your choice at any time with the cookie settings link at the bottom of the page.

Server logs

Like most websites, our server keeps technical logs (IP address, page, time, browser) to keep the site secure and working. They are kept for a short period, at most seven days, and then deleted.

Links to other sites

Some links lead to partner sites, AstroSynth and Astrology Match. They operate independently and have their own privacy policies. The links carry campaign tags that tell those sites the visit came from Litunec; no birth data is passed on.
