About Maryna Litunets

Maryna Litunets is an astrologer from Ternopil, in western Ukraine. She trained at the International Institute of Scientific Astrology and Spiritual University in India, then spent several years travelling through Asia and Europe to see how astrologers in different traditions read the same chart.

For more than 13 years she has worked freelance: drawing up birth charts, consulting clients about relationships and timing, and writing horoscopes and guides for media. She teaches beginners in short courses and master classes and is working towards a school of her own.

What this site is

Litunec started as Maryna's horoscope site. Today it focuses on one question people ask her most often: how do I love, and how does my partner? The site gives free calculators for the three love planets, Venus, Mars and the Moon, and a reading for each of their 36 placements.

Maryna's approach is practical. A placement describes motives and habits, not a fate. She writes so that a reader can recognise a pattern, talk about it with a partner and decide what to do with it.

How the pages are made

Planet positions come from astronomical calculations, not from tables copied from other sites; the method is described on each calculator page. Interpretations draw on classical astrology (rulership, element and modality) and on Maryna's work with clients. When something is updated, the date at the top of the page changes.
